breakthroughTRAFFICKING

The city of Pattaya in Thailand is the hotspot for sex trafficking in all of S.E. Asia. As such, we are concentrating our efforts both in Pattaya and in the Issan area of the North which is where a vast majority of the girls who are trafficked come from.

In Thailand alone there are an estimated 2 million people trapped in the sex trade having been coerced, manipulated or trafficked into it. It is said that one street of Pattaya can have as many as 4,000 people working in bars or brothels.

Our strategy in Thailand is simple:
“Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him
how to fish and he will eat for a lifetime.” – Chinese Proverb

We believe that by providing counseling, housing, and business education we can not only rescue people trapped in the sex trade but also prevent more from entering into it by boosting the local economy and creating job opportunities. To see pictures and recent updates from our trips to Thailand visit our facebook page.
